MARIA DA CONCEICAO DIAS PEREIRA RIBEIRO It is with great sadness and heartache that we announce the passing of Maria Ribeiro on November 29, 2004 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 69. Maria was born November 8, 1935 in Castelo de Lindoso, Portugal. She will be leaving behind her husband of 45 years, Hermes Fernandes Ribeiro and her children, Walter (Rosa), Juliet Miguel (Jose), Roger (Bina), Grace Santos (Paul) and her grandchildren, Karina, Sandra, Alex, Anna, Stephanie, Catarina, Daniel, Genevieve, Jessica, Melissa, Cassidy, Walter and Serina. Maria was predeceased by her parents Joaquim Pereira and Gracinda Rosa; her in-laws, Manuel Serafim Ribeiro and Ana Fernandes Pica. Mom will be greatly missed by her loving husband, her children and grandchildren that were very dear to her. Maria was cherished by her family and friends that she was always willing to lend a hand. We would like to thank everyone for their support and kindness, especially the staff of St. Boniface Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit. Prayers will be held on Friday, December 3 at 8:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. N. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 4 at 10:00 a.m. at the church as well, with Rev. Fr. Jose Eduardo Medeiros as celebrant. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Although you are gone, you are not forgotten, And remain in our hearts forever. We love you. Till we meet again, Rest in Peace.
